I thought these structures might be heading for Kitimat or Alaska,
but the barge docked not far from here, at an industrial area on the
north end of Campbell River. I'm not sure what these structures
are for, but the Island Generating Station is in that area.

Great timing to get this interesting capture. I, too, thought at first they were cranes for containers, but I guess they look a bit different than those.

they remind of container port cranes, although theycould simply be giraffe skeletons destined for a wildlife park..
