Guest brought to memory the "Purple Cow" poem. My father loved it.

Magic mushroom salad sounds like an interesting idea, Paul. Served in a bowl with purple cows and blue dogs?

I posted a candidate image in pending. Blue squirrel, anyone?

Hmmm. A challenge.

If I saw purple cows and blue dogs I’d start wondering about those mushrooms i had in my salad. Paul

LOL...I suppose you are correct Mr. Guest....but I also think you are having way too much fun ribbing us. Traveller

Cows should be purple.
Blue dog has been done.
Green eggs and ham?

Bring it on....maybe Jim and Paul can finally teach us "Masking," something at least for me remains a mystery. Let us see if we can transform your subject to...blue (a blue cow?). Traveller

My idea is to turn something blue (I have a subject in mind) rather than finding something blue. How does that strike you?

Dave, you've come to the right place! What is the idea? Jim has more than enough technical knowledge to do ANYTHING, Paul has the creative vision, Sue Anne will bring a feminine touch if she will participate...Let's rock out in a collaborative effort ! Traveller

I lived in Beverly Hills for five years. It was no great shakes. Yeah, the one in Michigan. I like where I live now. Very comfortable and low-key.

I have a creative blue idea that may need tools and knowledge not in my possession. Not sure where to go for help with it.

I particularly liked Paul's earlier word play...Mr. Knight Owl....lol

I have Googled my "Wealth," assertions and where I am mentioning sometimes comes up among the top three, (Beverly Hills is not in the running), but also sometimes not at all....hummm.

I thought about this before posting....it is good that you cannot read the street sign...(grin).

In any case funtimes for all...now I need to find something blue.

Best Wishes, Traveller (not traveling...but I do think I will hit the vaccine as soon as available{for a long time I thought not, but I have changed my mind on this}...as to other issues we will see...maybe interestingly, I have almost come to see my most comfortable home as a womb, warm and sheltering...until I am born into..... something else....hummmm).

Hmmm. At your age (my age) I am not sure there is anything wrong about being a "kept man". You have a lot to offer someone who is looking for an educated companion.

Call or write if you want to discuss. I can listen well.

You've piqued my curiosity. I can't quite read that street sign.

Yikes!

There is so much I can say about this image now that you have forced me to actually think about it.

It is not near midnight, my camera time simply is an hour off, but I do go shopping late because it is less crowded and therefore safer for someone like me. I was coming back from Ross Dress for Less, they have all kinds of cooking things on sale also and I needed a new cutting board so that was a primary reason for being out, as well as doing some grocery shopping.

Where I was parked is actually one of the richest sections in all of Los Angeles County and some people say richer certainly than Beverly Hills. I don't know, but I was parked in the driveway at the rear of a very rich house and I did worry that I had turned off my motor to brace my elbow for the quarter second shot on the interior of my vehicle armrest. 1/4 second, mirror lock up of course to avoid that possibility of camera shake.

It is a shame that I did not have my tripod with me for a  longer shot, but I did have some concern that the police might wander up and ask what I was doing parked with my headlights still on in this rich person's  driveway?

Further, while North of this main thoroughfare is filthy rich, the other side is pretty rich also and looking at the picture I realize that  a former Paramour of mine lived just across the street and I wonder how my life might be a little different had I accepted her invitation to fly to Paris and do a boat trip down through the Loire valley last year, all-expenses-paid.

It is not that I am wealthy or belong in this class of people, but rather it is because I don't belong that it appears I can be purchased by successful women for this or that. Still, I am useful.  Looking at the picture in retrospect, I wonder why I did not even consider driving the block and a half to her mini-mansion and stopping in to say hello? (Actually I have spoken to her recently, She wanted to go out to a restaurant, I did not. So same-same)

I am an odd fellow...I drove home to construct one of my huge and multi vegetable salads. By myself, new cutting board ($6.99), in hand...lol

Well done. Another good shot after dark with little traffic. It certainly draws us in to see the detail. And I like the non-symmetric positions of the lights.

Mr. Knight Owl strikes again. Paul

Headlight and taillight streaks add to the image's interest.
How long did you sit in the car waiting for the magic moment?
