As I have mentioned before, I have a bunch of hobbies. All of them are things I have been interested in for a very long time. Some people stay loyal to one hobby their entire lives. I have a lot of respect for people like that. The hobbies that have stayed with me forever, it seems, are aviation, photography, patch collecting and shooting. The way I participate in these endeavors is on a binge method. I will actively participate in one for a while then switch gears and get into another. That switchover came today. For the last six months aviation has been number one. I have spent five days per week at the airport fixing airplanes and flying airplanes. Yesterday I got to thinking about it and decided to go out and do some shooting. It was a beautiful day. I took two of my favorite pistols, the Ruger Mk I and the Beretta M9. I am not a very good shot, but I sure do like to pull the trigger, hear the sound, feel the recoil and see how I did. Today I went through 360 rounds of .22LR and 200 rounds of 9mm. When I looked in my shooting log I discovered that April 21, 2020 was the last time I went shooting. This is a good time of the year to go to the range here because the weather is much cooler than in the summer.
