Taking a drive back to my home town in Iowa on the first day of November. Most of the fields have been harvest but there were a few fields with standing crops and you could see the combines, wagons and trucks in them taking advantage of a fine day. One might thing with the fields bare the farmer is done until spring, and you would be wrong. Several were out discing and pulling a fertilizer tank behind. There is no 5 o'clock for a farmer, only midnight and sun rise. It looks like a good Iowa harvest this year.
