My oldest son and I often try to do a fall photo shoot either on the Blue Ridge Parkway and/or in Smoking Mountain National Park. Even with the pandemic getting worse, by camping, avoiding restaurants and social distancing we felt a fairly safe trip was possible. It was great to get out and enjoy a change of pace. Mixed weather provided some great skies and lighting to go along with the fall colors. It became apparent that many people that we observed on the parkway, seemed unconcerned about safe practices related to the covid 19 pandemic. It is not surprising that it is spreading so quickly again.
