Change

Fall

As the season grows later, the groundhogs are now finally in hibernation.
With a few exceptions, I've also been spending most of my time indoors during the past couple of days.
Cold weather makes a big difference.

Sunday US COVID News

“Trump and Pence ignore Covid-19 risk even as it spreads among inner circle.
Despite the coronavirus spreading among Vice President Mike Pence's orbit, the President and Vice President are ignoring the threat of the virus nine days before Election Day, continuing to downplay its risk at packed rallies across the country while endangering the lives of people around them, including their own staff and supporters.” CNN News

"At least five people in Vice President Mike Pence's orbit have tested positive for coronavirus in recent days, including chief of staff Marc Short. There are concerns that more people within Pence's inner circle will test positive in the coming days" CNN News

“Officials tried to block news of an outbreak in Vice President Mike Pence’s circle for “privacy” reasons, according to Mark Meadows. Hospitals around the U.S. are under pressure.”

“El Paso County, TX declares curfew due to spike in coronavirus cases with hospitals, ICUs at 100% capacity.” FOX News

“Utah’s hospitals prepare to ration care as a record number of coronavirus patients flood their ICUs. The young get priority over the old… Greg Bell, president of the Utah Hospital Association, said “It’s going to happen.’” The Salt Lake Tribune

“White House chief Meadows says ‘we’re not going to control the pandemic’ after coronavirus cases hit record high” CNBC News

It looks like Trump's America really may be taking a natural "herd immunity" route... Meanwhile, how many will sicken and die??? Who will be left when all of this is over? When will it be over? Allowing the virus to burn through America's population, it could take years for those who survive.

Its sad times, we are beginning to stay in more missing out on our planned retirement walks and relaxation. luckily we have great views from the house and a beach nearby.

I agree there is a change in our weather as well, it’s getting colder. For me being in self isolation when I do venture out occasionally there is now a nip in the air. Autumn is coming to an end, sadly. V
