“Diaspora Diary” by TAFUI.

Artist Statement: My work is inspired by the idea that’ we are one’
and through the understanding of our histories and shared experiences
we become united, as people, as cultures, and to the earth. Using mark-
making as homage to old methods of storytelling, I share my story
by connecting myself with others and others to me. Each symbol represents
a person from an aerial view, from a distance we are all the same.
