I'm a published fine art outdoor/nature photographer, writer and certified teacher.




I teach online courses and private photography workshops weekdays and weekends in Morris, Somerset and Warren Counties in NJ.


I have 24 years experience as an educator and professional landscape, macro, wildlife photographer.



Photography lessons are designed for users of DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, iPhones/Smartphones, and compact cameras.


Courses are customized to meet your specific objectives, learning speed, schedule, subject interests and skill level.

Private Instruction Tuition: Online lessons $75. 1.5 hrs. (one-on-one Web or phone conferencing and use of a free Flickr photo sharing site).










Course descriptions:



NEW: Art of Seeing online lesson one-on-one Web or phone conferencing and use of a free Flickr photo sharing site. 1.5 hrs.

Art of Seeing. Aesthetics, composition, color, design, finding subjects, lighting and developing a creative vision 2 hrs.

Composition and Design for iPhone/Smartphone Photographers. Learn how to compose professional quality images using your smartphone. Online session 1.5 hrs.

Learning Your Digital Cameras. Exposure modes, menu settings, f stops, shutter speeds, ISO, white balance, lenses, focus modes. Online lesson 1.5 hrs.

Delaware Water Gap Photography Workshop. Learn to make professional quality images of abandoned homes, nature, farms, and landscapes. 3 or 6 hrs.

Exposure and Metering. Exposure, exposure compensation, metering, tonality, manual settings and histograms. 1 or 2 hrs.

Great Swamp Field Workshop. Learn to create artistic images of birds, mammals, amphibians and landscapes. 2 or 3 hrs.
