We joined the annual 'Texel Birdwatching weekend' from 9-12 October. Many birdwatchers were present and lots of birds were observed, including some rarities. We observed a vragrant Isabelline Wheatear (Oenanthe isabellina) and many other interesting species: My favorites were Ring Ouzel, 3 lovely Snow Buntings, Huge flocks of European Golden Plovers and a Red-necked Phalarope and Red Phalarope together in one pond! Texel is a excellent place for birding!
