A local one (for me) scanned from a panoramic photograph circa 1905.
A view of the MacDonald institute on the left and MacDonald Hall on the right in Guelph, Ontario. Both Buildings still exist though the boiler house and chimney are gone, they are now surrounded by mature trees, this is a view that you will not see presently.
The MacDonald Institute was founded in 1903 to provide post secondary education to women in the fields of nature and domestic sciences. MacDonald Hall was the residence for the students.
The MacDonald Institute amalgamated with the Ontario Agricultural College and the Ontario Veterinary College in 1964 to form the University of Guelph.
