My colors were reversed. Red with white trim, and the engine was the 345 with glass pak mufflers. I still remember that sound they produced. I went to a junk yard outside Topeka and found some bucket seats that would fit in it so out went the bench. Now for the sad part, when I went into the Army in late 70 I left it for my younger brother to use. When I return I find the entire car is in a junk yard. I vowed to never forgive him.

That's a great color combo. Did it have a 409? Two-tone seats and steering wheel? Those were nice details.

Back in 69/70 I had a cherry red/ white 61 Chevy Impala SS convertible (I wish I still had it). It also had red interior but yours looks much nicer. Paul

Yes, that particular "pumpkin" is expertly stitched. Both my cars have red leather seats. The sharpest thing they come in contact with are the dogs' nails, though they usually ride on a towel.

At first I thought the seat was a carvable pumpkin also from the thumbnail...but maybe no knife for the one on the far left....lol Traveller

We haven't carved them yet. They were chosen for their shape and size. Size was important because they needed to fit on the bottom shelf of a shopping cart. Two for $8 was a good bargain. I remember putting in a bit of effort when we grew our own. Fun, but a waste of garden space.

Our neighborhood is a bust for trick-or-treating. Too dark, no sidewalks, and houses that are far apart. I used to make goody bags for the neighbors kids. They've aged away from that (in a few years we'll be next door to triplets who are learning to drive!). We have some candy corn to enjoy. Our son introduced his South African girlfriend to it. Love at first bite.

They look very nice sized for pumpkins and will make fantastic jack o lanterns.
Two questions, are these two guys actually going under the knife for a little cosmetic surgery?
Are you guys preparing for and handing out Halloween candy this year or skipping it? As much as I hate to think it, Halloween is my favorite Holliday, we’re skipping this year.
