The remnants of an industrial past. An old water driven Fulling Mill later to be partially driven by steam stood over this part of the River. It ceased operating well over one hundred
years ago at the start of the decline of the Lancashire textile industry. A water mill originally for grinding grain stood on this site for around one thousand years. Mother nature is re-establishing herself in this valley.
