After removing the top portion of her swim suit at the request of her female team mates, a brave Pohnpei competitor dives into the harbor to start her 50 meter swim during one of the island sports competitions. In Pohnpei and other Micronesia states, women who swim in the ocean often wear little or no swim attire. The Pohnpei women used some heavy peer pressure on their team mate to compete in the swim event （sland style, and not to be embarrassed to show her island culture even though there were more than 100 people above watching the competition from above.
