a recent spike in virus infection numbers comes after the re-opening of bars and restaurants...now those places face restricted hours, and nightclubs have been closed again

apparently there has also been a so-called 'exposure event' at a local clothing optional beach where nudists hang out

I really like the composition and moody light. I have a feeling another shut down is coming. V

A fine night-time image. Sad to say, but so many of these businesses
will no longer exist after this winter.

Very cool shot. Like the sign and the sculpture is intriguing.
I wonder why the opened bars and restaurants so quickly. Seemed a bad choice to me. They're closing again here too.

A fine night shot, with this blue column, like a watcher...V.

Not sure what else one would expect from an "exposure event" - can't help but laugh !!

Great night photograph.
(The last few days has seen hundreds of students partying all afternoon and evening on our local beaches, and no police to be seen to restrict groups to the permitted 6 people

Yeah, you gotta watch out for those exposure events at Wreck Beach!
Cool photo.

Unfortunately this pathogen doesn't require much of an opening to surge infections. A particularly sad time for your neighbor to the south as we approach 200k deaths. A grim milestone that is expected to be further eclipsed by the end of the year.

Almost the same around here...V
