De kooromgang is 2,4 m breed en van het koor afgescheiden door een zuilengalerij van acht zwartgeverfde
pilaren met goudkleurige kapitelen. Op de verdieping boven deze galerij bevindt zich nog een tweede arcade.
De grote schildering in het koorgewelf is neoromaans en dateert uit de tijd van Cuypers. De gebrandschilderde
ramen in de apsis zijn in 1987 geplaatst. Het volksaltaar is modern. Links ervan staat het conopeum opgesteld,
een van de eretekenen van de basilica minor.


The ambulatory is 2.4 m wide and separated from the choir by a colonnade of eight painted black
pillars with gold-colored capitals. There is a second arcade on the floor above this gallery.
The large painting in the choir vault is neo-Romanesque and dates from the time of Cuypers. The stained glass
windows in the apse were installed in 1987. The folk altar is modern. To the left of it is the conopeum,
one of the decorations of the basilica minor.
