De Helpoort, vroeger ook wel Jekerpoort, Hoogbruggepoort, Alde Poort op den Ancker, Kruittorenpoort of
De Twee Torens genoemd, is een voormalige stadspoort in de Nederlandse stad Maastricht.
De poort is onderdeel van de eerste middeleeuwse stadsmuur van Maastricht en is gelegen in het
Jekerkwartier aan het zuideinde van de Sint Bernardusstraat, tegenover het Pesthuys. De poort dateert
uit het tweede kwart van de 13e eeuw en is daarmee de oudste nog bestaande stadspoort van Nederland.


De Helpoort, formerly also known as Jekerpoort, Hoogbruggepoort, Alde Poort op den Ancker, Kruittorenpoort
or Called De Twee Torens, it is a former city gate in the Dutch city of Maastricht. The gate is part of
Maastricht's first medieval city wall and is located in it Jekerkwartier at the southern end of the
Sint Bernardusstraat, opposite the Pesthuys. The gate dates from the second quarter of the 13th century,
making it the oldest surviving city gate in the Netherlands.
