This Dahlia has been taken in some beautiful, well balanced light and provides good colour. However, we found this to be an unusual combination of elements.
The removal of the background, between the petals of the flower, has revealed artefacts during the post processing. In this case we do not find that the two elements
relate and the round circle cut out of the lady does not appeal. Perhaps consider introducing the portrait with a softer blend, rather than a sharp cut out.
The red flowers and lips of the lady also compete with the dominant pink dahlia.
