St Catherine's Church is the oldest church in Gdansk, built in 1227-1239.
The church tower is 76m high.
It was a Protestant church from 1545 until the end of World War II in 1945, after which it returned to the Catholic Church.
There is Johannes Hevelius's tombstone in this church, who lived and died in Gdansk in 1687.
