10803 – Euxoa velleripennis. I pointed out to Mark that velleripennis could also be a possibility, even though it is not sitting flat like a Euxoa. He compared the photo with his specimens of all three species and found that only velleripennis has antennae like this, so velleripennis it is!

Apamea impulsa or Melanapamea mixta ? I will pass this on to Mark Mello for his opinion. M. mixta has not been seen in MA for >30 years, despite searching.
