The original hotel is the dark stone building just visible on the right. This building is a major extension built in 1936 in the art deco style. When it was last open in early 2020 many of the reviews were non-complimentary along the lines of the hotel needing a major upgrade. It is currently closed. I hope the building gets the investment it needs and remains a hotel.
