Sand Ad Infinitum

Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO

This is a combination of ten individual images stitched together and shows what the sand dunes look like at a time of day when the light is not that interesting. The band of yellow green along the bottom edge of the dunes are a big bunch of sunflowers.

One doesn't really appreciate the size of these dune until you start walking, and walking, and walking out to them. Your little people convey that scale very nicely too.

smoothly assembled, and just the view to give a sense of the sweep of the area..

Phenomenal shot! It's interesting to learn that those bands of green are actually sunflowers. Seem to be a lot of people here too. The sand dunes themselves are fascinating and especially well photographed. VV
