Valley Of The Gods-Early Afternoon

This is a place well worth visiting and very isolated. Having clouds was fantastic even when shooting during with the harsh mid-day light. This would be a great place to explore further and even camp for a few days.

I love this kind of landscape, the colours change constantly depending on light and time of day, though the harsh sunlight can be a challenge, which you clearly had no trouble with. Gorgeous work. V

well-book-ended by the outcrops, and yes clouds are a photographer's boon when skies are bald blue...early morning light is good here, and then the terrain is redder, and shadows deeper too..

A very nice composition a well balanced with the two massive red rock formations.
Love the sky and clouds it dresses the scene up perfectly.
