A female eastern bluebird feeding her mate in mid air ..... they occupied house # 4 again this year.
Every year I held my breath waiting for the Eastern bluebirds to arrive. The first year (2010) we had four pairs that nested on the property. Lately the House Wrens have been vicious competition for them.
