We've had some hot weeks, but overall, Ohio hasn't been too bad this year. Had the windows open the last week, but started up the AC this morning. Looks like a nice cooldown next weekend.
I like the mood this creates, Ed. We too are having a couple week-long heat wave - we got up 10 106.3 degrees F two days in a row. And two nights of lightning storms, high wind, and even hard rain. Almost unheard of for us. Still hitting mid 90s during the day too, but higher humidity which is also unusual for us.
Looks like Virginia a couple weeks back. But now we have had lots and lots of rain (14 inches in August) and temps have returned to normal (upper 80s) and everything has gotten super green again.
