In the 1860s the state decided to speed up the growth of the railway network by building rail connections itself. These were afterwards given to be maintained and exploited by existing companies. The state decided there were to be few standardized station buildings. This is one of the remaining examples, station Oisterwijk. Classified as 4th class if I remember correctly.
