It was a nice morning and I was intent on flying for a while. I have to move two airplanes to get mine out which is a pain. Then I have to put them back in so I can close the door and lock it. Part of the flight today was testing the ForeFlight app using a different GPS. The one in my iPhone is not reliable. I have a Dual XGPS-150 that we use when traveling to run the iPad so I decided to give it a try. I could put it on the instrument panel cover where it has plenty of sky available. It worked like a champ. No losses of GPS position.
I went over to Anahuac and landed then on to Baytown for some gas. The price over there is $3.90 per gallon and it is full service. I like that. Then it was back to La Porte which is only ten miles as the crow (or Cessna) flies. Today's photo is of my airplane at the gas pumps at the Baytown Airport.
