While I have nearly entire galleries of the first gen Sony full frame cameras that show off their shutter shock prowess, you can also occasionally tease it out of an Olympus E-M1 as well. If you zoom in to the black board in the middle of the image here, you can see the text is blurry. This is something that should never happen with the badass stabilisation the E-M1 has on offer. When I saw this image, I dug in to the menu system and, sure enough, the shock setting was set to off. The first curtain/shutter on the E-M1 is a bit intrusive. Not Sony intrusive, mind you, which is more akin to locking and loading an M1 Abrams. It's just enough to get some shock between 100 and 160/s for me. I turned the shock setting to zero delay and haven't seen any since, but it's still a bit early.
