A sad remainder of the settlement of Boston, this was once a fairly large building, as log cabins go. Now, though, it is open to the sky and the rest of this side is gone also. It was poor protection from the hail-y downpour that happened as we first reached it; we got to look more closely at it on our way down the mountain.
