Vathy is a beautiful little harbor with rooms to rent and excellent, inexpensive restaurants. The nightlife here is quite enjoyable because it is so small it does not take very long to get to know people and you will always be able to find someone familiar to eat and drink with after the first day or so. You can drive there on the newly completed road from Apollonia in about 15 minutes.
