Friend Frog

On a hot summer afternoon at the bog, with little activity, this frog was my constant companion.
I first noticed him regarding me quietly about 5 feet from my boots.
Soon he climbed up on this adjacent rock, apparently to have a better look at me.
He remained by my side for the two plus hours I was there.

What a wonderful way to tell the story of the bog!
It is amazing to think of you both studying the other. So finely captured.

Maybe he was just waiting for you to kiss him and turn him into a handsome prince...you never know.
Fantastic sharpness and composition.

Fine composition. I know them. We had about eighteen of these "kwaakers" in our garden pond, but happily most of them they moved to our neighbor who has a much larger pond. V

Great capture of your constant companion. Here, they do their best to hide from us.
