The Osaquan Queen

Scanned from a snapshot from 1934
A shot of the The Osaquan Queen
The Osaquan Queen was a type of boat known as an Alligator and was used for towing log booms across lakes. The name Alligator comes from the fact that it was amphibious, fitted with a winch for hauling itself overland between lakes.
Osaquan was a logging community in Northern Ontario, unfortunately the lumber mill was destroyed by fire in 1930 and the community was abandoned by 1935, now a ghost town.
