or closest approach to the sun
Got to the hill at the Sunnyvale Baylands at 4:45 this morning.
Got some pics of comet by the tower on Mt Allison.
While bright, it was not visible to the naked eye due to the morning twilight.
It was a bright comet in the Southern Hemisphere and survived its path around the sun and is now
a Northern Hemisphere comet.
Used Heaven-above and The Photographers Ephemeris to find the comet.
It was fortuitous that it was near this tower.
