I am still working on the Cessna annual which has involved a lot of electrical work. As mentioned before I added to the breaker panel and in the course of so doing rerouted a lot of wires in a more logical manner. The people who put this airplane back together about 25 years ago were pretty indiscriminate about how they ran wires and used tie wraps to hold them in place. The result of that is lots of extra tie wraps as wires were added to a bundle and the previous wraps were left in place while new ones were added. That makes for a messy and hard to repair installation.
One thing that I also did was to move the avionics grounding post from an inaccessible place to one much more usable. I also installed a battery ground line to that post.
So I cut out a lot of tie wraps and threw them in a can because I thought it would be nice to see how many were removed. I roughly counted about 5-6 dozen. Today's photo is of the ones I collected. There are others that fell on the floor or got swept up.
