Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

This fungus was attracting many Bluebottle flies. I lay down on my stomach and put my camera close to get some shots of the flies and there was a bad smell. A google search suggested a Stinkhorn fungus. I agree

Wow, a very enviable shot! Not to mention beautiful. I was photographing flies on a stinkhorn (different species to your beauty) yesterday and got not even close to your stunning shots!! Very well done, and I really like the collage. VV
