Yvonne....In Memory

Sadly my dear friend of 21 years passed away early hours of this morning surrounded by her family.

I know many of you, like me, have enjoyed a wonderful friendship with this special lady and enjoyed her beautiful rose photos
and delightful gardens. My love to Dick and the children and grandchildren.
Rest peacefully dear Von.

We are shocked and saddened at the heart breaking news of the passing of the Rose Queen, Yvonne. We were privileged to meet her and Dick, made welcome at their wonderful property and delighted in a tour of the garden, just last February. She was a brave soul to the end and we send our loving thoughts and sympathy to Dick and her family. Rest peacefully dear Yvonne, you are sadly missed. Thank you Laine for this tribute and for keeping us informed. Barbara and Philip Game.

I'm in shock. The tears fall. My heart breaks. Although she was having more problems, she still sounded positive the last time we talked privately a week or so ago. Although we never had the privilege of meeting in person, I feel like I have lost a real friend. Rest peacefully, dear Von. You will never be forgotten. Thank you, Laine, for this lovely tribute to the queen of roses. She was such a special lady. Yvonne will be so missed. Beyond words.
