Manhattan Beach and the Bike Path

Manhattan Beach, CA

This isn't a great perspective of Manhattan Beach but it shows the bike path. I am on the walking path. Not very many people on this day. Technically, you can't sit on it but people do.

I haven't been commenting on your photos as I contracted a virus. I tested negative for Covid so I
don't know what it was or where I got it since I've been very careful. Anyway, getting the test is
fast and easy where I live. It was a drive through and I had the results withing 24 hours.
Slowly getting back to normal! I'm sure I've missed lots of great pictures that you all have posted!

Very like our bayside beaches during our lockdown! I see it was June - mid summer, so quite remarkable but sensible. So glad you tested negative for COVID.

I hope that your return to normal is rapid. Even without an overlying pandemic, it is still not good being sick. It is fascinating seeing a beach so empty like this. Your composition shows its pristine beauty quite well. ~V~

Interesting photo. I presume the blue poles are for beach volleyball, which isn't allowed these days?

Get well, and good to hear you don't have Covid.

Amazing to see the beach so deserted - you'd think it would be a fine place just to stand and watch the ocean. Glad whatever you had is going away!
globalgadabout21-Jun-2020 17:21
looks as if the lure of volleyball is not netting any visitors either...must have been concerning to catch a virus, luckily not the nasty one..
