This is another one of my favorite sites to take
photos at Sonoma. Turn 8. Note the photographer on
the left and the TV platform. When you stand on the
platform you get a great shot of the cars coming straight at
you. That's where the excitement and danger comes in, only your knees
are below the barrier. If a car has a stuck throttle or some
other issue he is coming straight at you. Photography is not
all about f stops ISO and composition it is also about an adrenalin
rush. Don't tell me that you can't get a rush when you have a whole
filed of cars coming straight at you at about 100 mph.
