Old Bus Before the Storm

Peyton, CO

And what a storm it was. The light right before was excellent and dramatic. Shortly after this image was captured, all hell broke loose. Torrential rain and then hail sent me scrambling for my car and then driving around on the tight and rapidly flooding little roads that interlace this yard. I was trying to find something tall that I could park next to so that the height would shield my car from the hail which was coming down at an angle. I didn't succeed and so decided I better run for it and try to get out and on the road home before all the roads flooded. I bet the light was amazing right after the storm ended.

a terrifying sky...the bus may well have been through a storm or two over the years from its appearance...loved the tale of your stormy times there..
