When they cut the hay lot across the road the crows, hawks, and the neighborhood eagles
show up hoping that something good got chopped up in the process. I hope so too if it is a rat!
We have two eagles nests within earshot and we are located between them.
They use the few remaining patches of tall old timber that dot the area.
This was right outside our backdoor and felt pretty lucky to get this.
The eagles and hawks usually land down inside the tree
to avoid getting harassed by the crows.
