Drive By Shooting

Lifeguard tower 13 sits on a stretch of beach called George's and has always been one of my favorite subjects, for the obvious reason. It is rarely occupied so the "No Lifeguard on Duty" sign carries additional significance with the unlucky 13. I've never shot it from this POV before and I kinda like the way it appears over the berm.

This is a very great composition.
It has a very authoritarian feeling s well as expectation.

I like this composition. No lifeguard and you're out of luck. A sinister warning indeed. V

The number and the sign provide ample warning ~V~

the fence reinforces the message here, and the view puts the little tower in perspective..

Yes, the framing does work. These towers are definitely great subjects...

A space ship of sorts. It works!
