Rising from a blindingly white sea of salt, Tunupa volcano is a multi-hued cone , the colors tend to burst the strongest in the hour just before sunset.It stands on the northern side of the Salar de Uyuni at an elevation of 5,321 m (17,457 ft) on the Bolivian Altiplano.
There is a cave with several mummies about half way up and an ancient village at the foot
