6 years ago to the day, I met Bailey in person at the Cargo Terminal for United Airlines. For me, it was love at first sight. For her, it was curiosity. She'd had a very long flight from Hawaii, but was still up to a new adventure. On the way home from the airport, we made a stop at Taco Bell: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/155643416 Bailey was not overly impressed. Instead, she chose to eat the dog kibble inside her travel crate: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/166337962

However, since that time, she's become extremely spoiled. Bailey now understands "human food". I quickly learned that she originally didn't when she first joined our family. Some food Bailey now likes; other she doesn't. If I'm having nachos, she now expects and enjoys seasoned ground beef and the nacho chips, but only IF the chips have cheese on them or are else well seasoned from the beef.
