Warm Creek

I don't know about you, but for me rivers all have personalities, as distinct as humans or pets. I found this stream last year on an expedition to locate new things to photograph and instantly knew I would need to return in the spring when the runoff would provide greater water volumes. Well, that day was yesterday, May 11, 2020 and I was THRILLED with what I captured! I started by capturing the overall scene then put my attention to the mid-level, and then onto the individual attributes such as this one that truly showcase this stream's personality. I have SO many more photos to share. The slideshow I put together is super-awesome.

For all the photos on this shoot, I double stacked two polarizer filters, stopped down to f22, and set my ISO to 50 in order to get the best water blur.

You did a lot of work to get this shot and it shows.
The image has a life of its own.
Well done,

Such a great capture Jim.
I love rivers and waterfalls too.
I often find a spot next to a gurgling stream
and find it so peaceful.

A wonderful closeup of this river.
