The comet here was imaged in the morning sky as it passed among the stars of the Milky Way in Cygnus, and shortly after rising above the trees which are silhouetted at the bottom of the frame. The most prominent red patch in the image is dubbed the "North American" nebula because of its distinctive shape.
The blue gas tail to the left is easily traced for 12 degrees, and the shorter yellow dust tail then is only about 4+ degrees long.
