A volunteer peony in our backyard that I had previously photographed when I realized it might bloom. Unfortunately, our 20-year-old peony is not blooming, due to a lack of adequate sun, I think, so I’m grateful to at least have this one.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
