I spent the whole day working at the airport. My objective was to remove the tray and wiring harness for the transponder. Easy, right, unplug a few wires and pull it out. Au contraire mon frere. Working under the instrument panel is never easy. The guy who put this airplane together years ago was very liberal with tie wraps. I had to cut dozens and dozens of them. Additionally, many were in places which were (nearly) impossible to reach. About 3:30 pm I finally got the darned thing out. I was sweaty and very thirsty. I headed home, took a shower and made a gin and tonic. Life is good, but sometimes frustrating.
