The back corner of the yard has been appropriated as part of Ginny's garden over the years. The reason is that it has evolved into a blackberry patch, and a pretty big and productive one at that. There are tons of green berries on the plants, and today a ripe one appeared. The next few weeks will yield a bumper crop of berries. Last year we were on a road trip when the berries ripened. We told Sara, our neighbor across the street, that she could have them all, and she really enjoyed that. It is important to note that Ginny loves berries of all kinds. She likes picking them and eating them so this is going to be quite the treat for her this year.
