NGC 5005

An intermediate spiral galaxy(SABb?) in Canes Venatici. It shines at magnitude 10.6, at a distance of 54 million light years, and maybe a companion of and possibly responsible for the warped arms of nearby NGC 5033. It has a bright nucleus that likely harbors a supermassive black hole (don't they all lately?)
