The fish and other wildlife caught a break.
Hunting and fishing are shut down until May 4.
I think there will be some benefit to this
though there are probably more than a few that are upset
that perfectly good wildlife or fish go uncaught.

A black bear came down from the Olympic Mountains along the
Dungeness River all the way to the mud flats of Dungeness Bay.
A small thing but I bet it hasn’t happened in the last hundred years.
The game wardens came to get the bear and gave it a
ride home so it worked out for the bear.
Just tell someone they can’t have it and they want it even more.
I am for the wildlife. They needed the break!
