A New Life For This One

I remember passing this one back in the 1950s when my parents would drive up to
the lake on summer weekends. This former schoolhouse is now a private residence.
As there was road construction in the front of the building, I was relegated to this
side view.

My brother and his family lived in the schoolhouse that some of us attended, it was a lovely home.

So happy to see it was saved.

Such a neat piece of history. Glad to see the building repurposed rather than left vacant or torn down.

should make a fine home, and with lots of windows...this view works well to model the building..

What an excellent idea! There's a lot of repurposing on Capitol Hill of schools and churches, but they're always made into condos, not single family dwellings. I like the side view, showing just how big the building is.

Never heard of a school being converted to a home. Would be very interesting to see what they have done with it.

It's a charming building. I'd like to see it indoors.
